There is simply nothing as beautiful as photos in a natural setting! Below is a list of some of my favorite locations and some ideas I’d love to try for anyone looking for something unique. If you have a favorite place (home, farm, park, covered bridge), let’s meet there- I’d love to see it and capture you in a location that is meaningful to you! Wolf’s Hollow, 1399 Schoff Road, Atlgen Fields, fence rows, a small stream, a beautiful paved path thru the trees, a stone wall from an old Quarry. Hibernia Park, 1 Park Ave, Coatesville Fields, a lake, a mansion house, beautiful red barn, fence rows, tree backgrounds, a stream. Springton Manor Park, 860 Springton Road, Glenmoore, PA (I have to admit, this is my favorite!) Many fields, a working farm with animals, Beautiful red & stone barns, a farmhouse, a pond, wooden dock/bridge, woods, an old stone house foundation, large old trees whose branches come right down to the ground, large stones, a tree-lined gravel drive. Historic Poole Forge Park http://historicpooleforge.org1940 Main Street Narvon, PA 17555 Beautiful buildings & landscaping, a covered bridge, a pond and stream. Beautiful! Nottingham Park, 150 Park Rd, Nottingham, PA Wood setting (most trees here are black pines, so not a ton of leafy trees), a red covered bridge, ponds, fields Long’s Park, 1441 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster (a $20 travel fee applies to this location) Beautiful pond, dock, gazebo, paths, fence rows & grassy/tree areas Goddard Park, 568 Wickerton Road, West Grove A pond, paved path, fields Brandywine Battlefield, 1491 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford ($20 travel fee applies) Old brick buildings, fields, historic Robert Fulton Birthplace, 1932 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville ($20 travel fee applies) Old stone house, garden, fields, historic Valley Forge National Park, 1400 North Outer Line Drive, Valley Forge ($20 travel fee applies) Huge marble arches, historic battlefield shelter replicas, fields, monuments, historic
Sunflower fields (these pop up randomly in different locations, but there has been a consistent one here in Parkesburg that is nice- & local- and provides a beautiful shoot location. Timing is typically late July-August for sunflowers to bloom If you have a favorite location I didn’t list, just let me know! The above places are ones I visit very frequently for shoots, so I’d love to discover new places. Mt. Airy Lavender Farm (lavender in bloom mid June to July/August), 141 Mt. Airy Rd, Coatesville, PA **For locations beyong 15 miles from Parkesburg, there will be a $20 travel fee added at the discretion of McKenna Moments, even If it may not be noted above.
